Regmio launches an API: company checks now run directly in accounting, CRM and ERP systems
Regmio, the Baltic company-check platform, has developed and released an API: an interface that lets accounting, CRM, ERP and other business systems retrieve Regmio data on Latvian, Estonian and Lithuanian companies on their own. Partner checks no longer have to be done by hand: the system runs them automatically and shows the result where people already work.
Until now, checking a new customer or supplier meant opening the Regmio website, finding the company and copying the data into your own system. With the API, the same can be done without human involvement: a program asks "tell me about company 40003032949" and within a fraction of a second receives its name, address, VAT status, management board, owners, financial figures, tax debts, sanctions screening result and risk level.
Who it is for
- Accounting. When adding a new customer or supplier, the registration number is enough: the name, address and VAT number fill in automatically. Before an invoice is issued, the system checks that the VAT number is valid in the European Commission's VIES system.
- Sales and CRM. The customer card shows the company's status, risk level and warnings, for example about tax debt or insolvency, before deferred payment terms are offered.
- Procurement and ERP. Before a contract is signed or an advance payment is made, the system checks whether the supplier is active, who sits on its board, who owns it and whether it appears on sanctions lists.
- Partner monitoring. Each user can add up to 1,000 companies to monitoring, and every morning the system receives a list of changes: a new board, a new owner, a tax debt, a liquidation.
- Compliance checks (AML/KYC). Regular screening of customers against sanctions lists and the list of politically exposed persons, with date and source.
No programmer required
The API is also usable by people who do not write code. The documentation includes a ready-made Excel Power Query example that loads a list of monitored partners, with status and risk level, into an Excel sheet at the click of a single "Refresh" button. In automation tools such as Make, Zapier or n8n, an "HTTP request" module is all it takes: for example, a new customer added to a Google Sheets table is automatically checked in Regmio, and the result is sent by email or to Slack.
How to get started
- Purchase the Business plan; the API is included at no extra charge.
- Create a key under My account → API keys.
- Pass the key and a link to the developer documentation to your programmer or system vendor. Connecting usually takes a few hours.

Security and privacy
The connection is encrypted, API keys are stored only as hashes, and any key can be deleted with a single click. Regmio does not build or use users' search history: only the numbers of opened profiles are kept to calculate usage limits, and they are deleted after 35 days. Checked partners are not notified that they have been checked. The API is intended for checking your own partners and customers, not for reselling data.
Price
The API is included in the Regmio Business plan: €34.90 per month or €299 per year. The plan also includes a team of up to 5 users, monitoring of up to 1,000 companies each, list import and export, and invoicing to a company. There is no separate charge per request; a fair-use limit of 60 requests per minute applies.
